Paul Mwazha declares allegiance to Zanu-PF

Leader of the African Apostolic Church Mutumwa Paul Mwazha says he is an admirer of President Robert Mugabe and supports Zanu-PF.

Mwazha told the Minister of Women's Affairs, Gender and Community Development Nyasha Chikwinya who had come to his Chivhu homestead for the burial of his wife Mbuya Joyce Mwazha who died on Saturday that he is an admirer of Mugabe and that he is a Zanu-PF member.

Chikwinya said she had come to deliver a special message of condolence from the Zanu-PF women's league led by First Lady Dr Grace Mugabe and the government of Zimbabwe.

President of the Apostolic Churches Council of Zimbabwe Reverend Johannes Ndanga described Mbuya Mwazha as a champion of women empowerment.

Mbuya Mwazha whose burial was attended by thousands of people who included church followers, was born in the Sadza area of Chikomba in 1937 and married Mutumwa Mwazha in 1956 with whom she had eight children.

She is survived by her husband Mutumwa Mwazha, five children, 21 grandchildren and 3 great grand children.
