Acting President Phelekezela Mphoko has claimed that there is a hidden agenda behind violent clashes that broke out at Zanu-PF Bulawayo provincial headquarters, Davies Hall on Sunday.
Mphoko insinuated that the Zanu-PF thugs are being used to topple President Robert Mugabe.
He said Mugabe was appointed by God to rule.
"This kind of behaviour is embarrassing and uncalled for," he told state-controlled Chronicle.
" It's caused by people who are so desperate for power. People with no power have no support and they want to use violence to force people to follow them.
"This country is being ruled by President Mugabe who has been appointed by God and the people of Zimbabwe. We all have to work under the appointed leadership and those who are not willing to do that can leave the party."
