Mthwakazi Republic Party has said the developments in Zanu-PF, MDC-T and Joice Mujuru's NPP in their Bulawayo's provincial offices actually indicates that tribalism in this country is real and also Shona supremacy is real.

Party spokesperson Mbonisi Gumbo said it has come to their attention that the squabbles at Davies hall in Bulawayo were actually tribalism orientated more than factionalism as reported by the Chronicle.

"According to some Zanu-PF youths we spoke to, they revealed that the Shona people at Davies hall have since created their own cabal that wants to always undermine decisions made by the local leadership claiming that they are well connected and nothing locals can do. The youths said they were angered by the one who announced that they were angry with Kasukuwere for not giving them land to build houses as promised. "How can people from Mashonaland get houses and farms here when we locals can't"?. Said one of the youths who spoke to us on condition of anonymity," Gumbo said.

He said at MDC-T Bulawayo provincial offices there are always running battles over the same issue of tribalism of Shona and Ndebele including at Harvest house where there was once a slogan Mandeere awandisa which caused the 2005 split.

"The MDC-T went as far as putting three VPs just to block Thokozani Khuphe a Ndebele from taking over, because that is viewed as improper by Shona people who believe a Ndebele cannot lead them," he said.

"We are reliable informed that after the publication of the story that the National people's party's Bulawayo structures are squabbling over imbalances in as far as the tribal factor is concerned, as the Ndebeles thinks that it is improper to be dominated by Shonas in Bulawayo. They said Shona people won't allow Ndebele people to dominate them in Mashonaland so why should they be allowed to dominate us in Mthwakazi?"

Gumbo said all this actually vindicates them as they have always said that Mthwakazi and Zimbabwe are two separate states with a completely different way of life, cultures, etc.

"The more we fail to agree that Mthwakazi Restoration is the right thing to do, the more we suffer. MRP is humble asking every one within Mthwakazi to register and vote for MRP in 2018. This is the real change you need as Mthwakazi people," he said.

"We are aware that some Ndebeles are there to protect the wealth they have, others are in anticipation of money and positions and so on. But they all know the right thing to do is restoring Mthwakazi therefore it is only prudent for you to Vote MRP considering that your vote is a secret. We will be expecting votes from every Ndebele person including the likes of Mudenda, Khuphe, Mphoko, Obert Mpofu, Lovemore Moyo, and among many others. We all know that a Vote for MRP will complete change the status of Mthwakazi for ever."

Gumbo said Zanu-PF is coming to an end and the Shona supremacy is coming to an end not forgetting that the legacy of the 1979 Shona Grand plan is also coming to an end as well soon.

"A win by MRP in the four provinces will make great changes in the next five years, our plan is that Bulawayo must build at least three Shopping Malls in the next five years outside the Central Business Centre, and at least two Malls in every provincial town in Mthwakazi in the next five years. And at least one Shopping Mall in all the District towns," he said.

"MRP believes that it is important that the executive Mayors are returned so that development is achieved without undue interference by the central government. MRP will make sure that Natural resources in Matabeleland benefits the locals, employment preference must benefit locals and land in Mthwakazi must benefit the locals. And this is good news to every Mthwakazian."
