WATCH: Mugabe narrates how Mnangagwa fell ill - 'He was almost gone'

President Mugabe has said the Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa's South African-based doctor briefed him on his deputy's ailment and ruled out a case of food poisoning, and advised that he should stop eating meat.

Mugabe said the doctor also advised his deputy to eat broccoli.
