Zanu-PF youths, MDC-T councillors team up to eject Mayor

Zanu-PF youths and MDC-T councillors on Tuesday night teamed to eject suspended Mutare Mayor Brian James and his wife Lynne from a full council meeting where they were seated in the public gallery.
The public gallery was packed with Zanu-PF youths in what appeared a well rehearsed move.
Brian James MDC-T was suspended by Ignatius Chombo, the Minister of Local government on 19 January 2012.
Brian James received the suspension letter Friday 27 January at 9AM. The letter was however dated 19 January and indicated that the suspension was with immediate effect.
