Chinotimba embarks on massive BVR campaigns

Buhera South legislator Joseph Chinotimba says effective mobilisation of the Zanu-PF party's millions of supporters to register under the biometric voter registration (BVR) exercise is a prerequisite for the ruling party to achieve a landslide victory ahead of next year's harmonised elections.
The popularity of Zanu-PF and Chinotimba was witnessed when thousands of party supporters from Buhera South ward 28 converged at Jori Business Centre to meet their legislator at a meeting to raise awareness on the need to register as voters.
Chinotimba urged party supporters to take the registration exercise with the respect it deserves.
He said although the BVR exercise has not yet reached some wards in his constituency, the meeting sought to raise awareness on the importance of the election preparation exercise.
Chinotimba urged Zanu-PF supporters to shun violence ahead of the next year's harmonised elections.
