War veterans plot Zanu-PF split
31 Oct 2017 at 06:12hrs | Views
Veterans of the country's liberation struggle will mid-next month hold a make-or break indaba that they say could result in a breakaway group from Zanu-PF.
ZNLWVA spokesperson Douglas Mahiya said the conference, to be held at Gwanzura Stadium on November 18, would also bring together liberation war collaborations, children of war veterans as well as our wives.
Meanwhile, ZNLWVA leadership has appealed to Rhodesians scattered across the world to come back and rebuild the country because the current government has failed.
"We want them to be part of the next governance in Zimbabwe, because this country had been run on a scotched earth policy by the G40, we now want it to recover and for us to build a new country," said ZNLWVA chairperson Chris Mutsvangwa.
