Transform Zimbabwe leader Jacob Ngarivhume has warned the citizens to ignore the issue of former Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa having been fired from both government and Zanu PF and focus on how they can rescue themselves from the ruling regime.

"The dismissal of VP Mnangagwa is not anything we should dwell on. We must not spend time speculating on what will happen next or drooling over the internal affairs of Zanu PF. For 37 years Zanu PF has hired and fired as they like and the goings on in Zanu PF have never had any positive bearing on our nation," he said.

"What We need to DO now as Zimbabweans seeking change is focus on removing Zanu PF in 2018. What we need to focus on now is:- Unity of purpose amongst progressive democratic forces. We must all unite as citizens and democratic movements to fight for a better Zimbabwe, We must ALL register to Vote. We cannot vote for change unless we register to vote under the BVR system. We must ALL vote in our numbers when the time comes, We must be ready to defend out vote by all means possible."

He said Zimbabwe as a nation and a people deserves a progressive brand of politics which will help build a progressive and prosperous society for our young men and women.

"We can all agree that the politics of violence, division and chaos which have been the cornerstone of ZANU PF have degraded our nation ecomically, socially, physically and mentally. It is time to fight for a Zimbabwe that is characterised by and represents love, inclusivity, tolerance, peace and prosperity. It is time to open a new chapter in our lives and the only way we can do that is to exercise our democratic right to be heard. And that democratic right begins by us sending a message through the ballot box. We must all agree to work together and move with One message , in One direction to finally put an end to our suffering of the last 37 years," he said.

"Encourage your mother, father, daughter, son, relative, friends anyone who you know who is eligible to vote to register to vote. WE WILL NOT GET A NEW ZIMBABWE IF WE DON'T FIGHT FOR A NEW ZIMBABWE. REGISTER TO VOTE TODAY, THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU CAN DO TODAY IS TO REGISTER VOTE AND TO VOTE ON ELECTION DAY."
