Chaos in Zanu PF is a divine intervention to save Zimbabweans - Eric Knight

Former ZBC presenter Eric Knight has said the chaos in the ruling Zanu PF and the expulsion of Emmerson Mnangagwa may be a divine intervention to save Zimbabwean from the long time misrule.
"I repeat, this could be what God has ordained as the solution to Zimbabwe's problems but hang on , lets talk folks. So ED is no longer a Vice President and understandably he has also been expelled from Zanu PF, right? Earlier reports reveal that Igwe fired him but other sources say he actually resigned at around 11am before Igwe assigned Zanu PF Spokesman Simon Khaya Moyo to give out the statement as Minister of Information," he said.
"I don't know which is which but that is not very important as it was widely expected that somehow they wanted him out anyway. Fair enough but now, in the wake of this development, I notice that some sections of Zimbabweans are very excited. Some even are bubbling that neither do they have sympathy nor do they feel sorry for him as if he needs their sympathy after all!"
He said here is the thing fellow Zimbabweans.
"Sometimes we have this habit of being over excited over nothing, we celebrate nothing. Tell me, how does ED's departure from Zanu PF or Government change your life and my life? We need to be open-minded and be objective. We need to be careful about what we wish for. Yes, this man is not and has never been an angel but look, he was part of a very huge system that of course everybody knows is responsible for most of the country's problems, either by association or by relationship. He is not innocent but, is he the only one?" he said.
"How can you celebrate the axing of an appointee yet the appointer is still in office? We also need to ask ourselves the objective of his expulsion. Is it meant for the good of the nation, the people or the country? No!, so what are you celebrating here?"
"I agree and I believe that this development could be a catalyst for change that Zimbabwe desperately needs. I have always and still continue to sing the same song. Zimbabwe needs a change of Leadership, not the expulsion of ED only. It is not ED here who is the problem, it is the system of governance under Igwe."
"I don't like it when all of a sudden hypocritically the whole system turns against one man to say he is the bad apple, he is the cause of all the problems we have, yet in actual fact, he is just being used as a scapegoat to advance personal, family and factional interests. I don't like it when someone is being spat out simply because a wife doesn't like him."
He said he dopes not like it when someone is being ejected to create space for the favoured ones.
"I don't like when someone is being sacrificed simply because he is a threat to someone's legacy and position. If this man is being dismissed because he is the cause of national problems and axing him brings us a solution, I join you in celebrating the removal of a problem," Knight said.
"If he is being eradicated so as to create space for Mama Igwe then that's nonsense. We don't want a situation whereby you remove a spider and replace it with a snake! Finally, fellow Zimbabweans. Its now about the nation, not the Party anymore, that is why some of us are now interfering even if we are not Zanu PF members. Let's not be quick to celebrate. Again, we need to pray for our country. We need to pray that there will not be bloodshed. We need to pray that proper people-oriented leadership takes office. Zimbabwe is a country, not a business, not a family property, not a friends only club."
He said tet's not celebrate nothing, Let's not celebrate too early.
"There are still so many devils that are in government leadership, masquerading as saints. Let's pray that they will be exposed and exterminated henceforth, regardless of their factional and political affiliation. Yes, they are plenty of them. Let us pray that innocent blood will not be split. There is potential danger here, a massive one. Some characters dint just die silently and I know some of you are intelligent enough to know what I am talking about. Yes, it could be God's answer to the nation's predicament, but it is the prayer that avails power," he said.
