There are conflicting reports on the whereabouts of the Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education professor Jonathan Moyo.
Earlier there were reports that Moyo had been arrested while trying to enter the US embassy in Harare seeking asylum.
Chairman of Alpha Media Holdings Trevor Ncube on Wednesday afternoon suggested that Moyo might have been hiding in one of Mugabe's homes in Borrowdale.
"I am reliably informed that the military suspect that Cabinet Ministers Jonathan Moyo and Saviors Kasukuwere might have sought refuge in President Mugabe's "Blue Roof" Borrowdale home. They have sent an emissary to request their release- if they are there," reads Ncube's tweet.
Moyo who is a regular Twitter user last twitted about 24hrs ago.
