Tsvangirai and Mnangagwa can bring relief to many Zimbabweans

I wouldn't mind being on the negotiating table, for the new arrangement which is likely to come, but we need to get rid of selfish minds, and we should be promoting unity amongst Zimbabweans at this point in time. This is not a Zanu PF thing or MDC thing, or ED thing but we have a common goal, and I think Chinamasa's utterances are regrettable at a time when Zimbabweans are trying to look for each other. Remember Zimbabweans are divided across political lines, and it is high time, this should be dealt with and bring message of reconciliation. ED has a good start but people who may spoil for him are the likes of Chinamasa and others who just want to be greedy and selfish for nothing.

I didn't like the speech Chinamasa gave soon after the central committee meeting, it looked like they plotted to use the opposition and later dump them at a later stage. Why would Chinamasa use such words when ordinary Zimbabweans came together on this thing to remove a monarchy which Mugabe built? ED has to be very careful with such characters that may want to loot and line their pockets at the expense of generous people. Whilst people like Patrick Chinamasa who are always known for loosing elections at constituency level remains hurdle in Zim progress. I think ED should get rid of people like Chinamasa because he is now very unpopular in zim politics. I don't see the reason why ED would bring people like Chinamasa in the next Government.

I would suggest that ED should clean up the mess that Mugabe created in the past 37 years. For me I may think ED and Tsvangirai can bring relief too many Zimbabweans. For your information when Tsvangirai arrived at Zimbabwean grounds, it was Morgan alone who brought the CBD to halt and my assessment is MDC supporters are the ones who were on the fore front of sending a clear message to Mugabe that he is now history, Zimbabweans are now looking for a new chapter, why would people like Chinamasa , who have hijacked the project on the way, to come up with suggestions that Tsvangirai and other key opposition figures would not be part of this, that was a big blow to ED and his allies.

This thing was initiated by smart generals and this was good, but they have to be careful of greedy people who have failed Zimbabweans in the past by introducing bad economic policies without proper consultation. For me Chinamasa is out, because he has been a serial loser in his own home area he failed to implement any single project and honestly what do you expect from Chinamasa who is known for loosing elections. The reason why most MDC supporters thronged Highfield area popularly known as Zimbabwean grounds, it is because people are fed up with Mugabe the only obstacle who has been a stumbling block for economic gains in this country. So trying to use the opposition to prop up their agenda will not be successful. Remember this issue has a number of legal hurdles and connotations and it is high time, ED should begin to work with Tsvangirai for good economic policies. Remember it's Tsvangirai who brought economic stability during the GNU era, so going alone is very suicidal and it will cost EDs political career. This should be done in the national interest.

Zimbabweans are expecting a better environment which is conducive for economic activities for survival means. The issue of power is for Zanu PF and it is not our business. What the generals and ED should understand and know better is that people are not worried about their political mileage and future but is about Zimbabweans who want food on the table. Whether it is ED or Chiwenga to us it is not an issue, my analysis is the reason why people marched is because they wanted to get rid of the common enemy that is Mugabe and his G40 cabal who were misleading Mugabe in making wrong economic and political decisions. At the same time Tsvangirai needs good and better advisors who can give him sound advice.

The former Prime Minister is receiving a lot of pressure to join a unity Government, which is not a bad idea but it should be transformational, different from the 2009-2013 era where the opposition was used to rubber stamp bad economic policies that Zanu PF created. People like Mudzuri can come in, and give Morgan Tsvangirai well and sound advice before taking up any position in Government. Having met Mudzuri you can easily tell that he is a sober mind, sober thinking and such people can bring meaningful solutions to our country's mess.

WAY FORWARD FOR ED AND NEW GOVERNMENT

1. ED should completely deviate from Mugabe's bad economic policies and prove to the nation that he is a new and clean leader
