The Norton independent legislator Temba Mliswa has bemoaned the appointment of deputy ministers in the Government.

"If there is a message l have been saying consistently, we do not need Deputy Ministers," he tweeted.

His idea was supported many users who said the new President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa should just not appoint deputy ministers or even the Senate.

"I would be very much happy if HE chooses not appoint Deputy Ministers. The post is a ceremonial one because they don't even stand in when the Ministers are not around," tweeted Hilda Ndawana.

Portia Kurima tweeted, "World ,all they do is cost payer money , money which can be put to good use elsewhere."

"We also don't need senate," tweeted Gabriel Hakunavanhu.

Meanwhile, since the inauguration of the new President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa aka ED at the giant National Sports Stadium on 24 November 2017, there is so much anticipation on how his cabinet will look like since the G40 cabals were sacked from the party.
