The Zanu PF Harare Province inter-district conference held in the capital has recommended for the expulsion of Minister of State for Harare Metropolitan Province Miriam Chikukwa and three other senior members from the party.
The conference also resolved that President Emmerson Mnangagwa be endorsed as the revolutionary party's President and First Secretary at the forthcoming extraordinary congress next week.
Zanu PF Harare Province chairperson Goodwills Masimirembwa told reporters that the conference endorsed President Mnangagwa as the sole Zanu PF Presidential candidate for the 2018 general elections.
The inter-district provincial conference also replaced Shadreck Mashayamombe who has since been expelled from the party by Douglas Mahiya as Harare Province political commissar.
The resolutions will be tabled for considerations at the forthcoming Zanu PF extra-ordinary conference set for next week in the capital.
