An MDC-T official Chalton Hwende has said the President Emmerson Mnangagwa will not reform the ruling Zanu PF as the party seem to be following the system which characterized former President Robert Mugabe's leadership.
The provinces in the country have since endorsed Mnangagwa as their presidential candidate in the 2018 election a habit that prevailed during Mugabe's reign.
"So what is the difference between ED and RG. He is not going to Reform Zanu-PF I am shocked that at their congress this week there will be no election to chose the Party President," Hwende said.
"He will still appoint the Vice Presidents and the National Chairman. An election would have sent correct signals about the possibility of change in Zanu-PF."
