Zanu-PF warns against bhora musango

Zanu-PF members have been warned against supporting any other presidential candidate except President Emmerson Mnangagwa and the party candidates in the coming polls.
The warning was made at the Zanu-PF inter-district conference held at Lwendulu Hall in Hwange.
Zanu-PF is convinced that elements from the opposition-aligned to former President Robert Mugabe are pursuing the 'bhora musango strategy,' aimed at influencing candidates who lost in the Zanu-PF primary elections and their supporters to vote for the MDC Alliance led by Advocate Nelson Chamisa.
Zanu-PF National Youth Secretary for Education, Wellington Tagarira said those who adopt the 'bhora musango strategy' are as good as opposition members who will never want to see Zanu-PF succeed in any elections.
"If you follow the 'bhora musango strategy,' you are now in support of Mugabe and his wife. Do you hear me comrades? You are also not different from the MDC people. Already we have got one of our former national member, Aleck Nyakuwara, i think most of you know him. He has joined NPF and he is aiming at regrouping those who lost in the primary elections," said Tagarira.
Zanu-PF leaders felt it is time the party revisits the formation of cells in the future to avoid the challenges encountered during the primary elections last month.
Meanwhile, the party leadership urged members to physically check their names in the voters roll since text messages are not providing all the information for registered voters.
