MDC-T, Zanu-PF campaign teams meet

The Dr Thokozani Khupe led MDC-T says it is impressed by the conducive campaigning climate obtaining in the country ahead of the 2018 harmonised elections and has urged the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) to adhere to the dictates of the Constitution.
The Dr Khupe led MDC-T party continued with its door-to-door campaigns in Bulawayo today with its members taking time to engage the electorate on a one on one basis.
Dr Khupe and some of her senior members who were part of the team met a Zanu-PF campaign team at Pardonhurst Shopping Centre where they exchanged some friendly greetings in a sign that Zimbabweans have matured politically.
In an interview with ZBC News, Dr Khupe who is one of the presidential candidates said she is humbled by the political climate the country is experiencing ahead of the July 30 polls.
The MDC-T Chief Elections Officer Mrs Priscilla Misihairabwi Mushonga said she is happy with her party's campaign strategy which has seen them reaching out to most of the eligible voters across the country.
The Dr Khupe led MDC-T said it has also lined up similar campaigns for Masvingo and Mutare as it seeks to ensure that their election manifesto is understood countrywide.
