MDC-T Senator Mudzingwa was once a Zanu-PF member

The late Tichaona Mudzingwa ( 69) who died on Tuesday was once an active member of both Zanu-PF and Zapu before joining MDC-T in its formation.
According to information posted on MDC-T website between 2000-2006, he was MDC's Secretary for Health and Security.
At the time of his death he was MDC-T's Secretary for Defence and Home Affairs.
He was a non-consistency senator.
He had been deputy minister since March 2009.
MDC-T says Mudzingwa was the first medical doctor to receive full military training and to be deployed to the military front in Zambia and Mozambique from 1975 to 1980 when Zimbabwe attained its independence.
He was born on 23 December 1942 in Buhera.
Mourners are said to be gathered at 380 Shelbourne Road, Uplands, Waterfalls in Harare.
Mudzingwa's death come a month after another MDC-T Bulawayo senator for Masotsha- Ndlovu constituency Enna Chitsa died in March.
Her death also came a few months after Senator Gladys Gombami last December.
