MDC Alliance supporters held hostage by the military for '24hrs'

Twenty MDC Alliance supporters have been held hostage by the military for about 24hrs, a party official has said.
MDC youth assembly vanguard national spokesperson Chengetai Guta brought the hostage situation to media attention via WhatsApp on Thursday morning.
"We have a hostage situation. At least 20 people including women are being held hostage by the military. May you kindly assist with coverage. Am in town and I can lead you to where they are," said Chengetai Guta.
Bus Stop TV also confirmed the incident during an interview with Tendai Biti this afternoon.
