'Chamisa is a comedian' says Minister Mutodi

Deputy Minister of information, Publicity and Broadcasting Energy Mutodi has mocked MDC Leader Nelson Chamisa calling him a comedian who is in the mould of the late veteran actor Safirio Madzikatire popularly know as Mukadota.
Mutodi was commenting on the alleged footage of Chamisa s abduction by suspected member's of the dreaded Central Intelligence organisation.
"History repeats itself. Zimbabwe has another Mukadota in the form of Nelson aka Nero Chamisa. Only Mukadota was a social comedian and Nero a political comedian whose supporters blindly follow a hoax. A serial liar cum actor in stage-managed fake abductions, shame."
Mutodi's statements got an emotional response MDC-Alliance legislator for Kuwadzana East Charlton Hwende who accused the minister of playing below the standard.
"This is too low even for your Zanu-PF Standards. A Government must guarantee the safety of its citizens even those who oppose them. The State has caused the disappearance of many political opponents in the past. Allow the police to investigate and stop this interference."
Earlier on Monday MDC President Nelson Chamisa broke the silence over a circulating alleging that his life has always been in danger.
Said Chamisa, "I sympathize with those driven by lies and malice who rush to claim that threats to life are false. Far from it. Threats to my life are real and have been made before, in broad daylight. The Saturday incident was horrible. I am concerned about the security situation in our country!"
