WATCH: Mnangagwa holds a closed-door meeting with China's Zhou Xi'an

President Emmerson Mnangagwa today held a closed-door meeting with the Deputy Governor of China's Anhui Province Zhou Xi'an at his Munhumutapa offices.

Speaking to the media after the meeting, Mr Zhou Xi'an said his visit was a follow up to the President's recent visit to China.

Mr Zhou Xi'an said he was here to implement some of the agreements signed between President Mnangagwa and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping in the areas of trade and commerce. He said his province is investing in food processing & marketing.

He also indicated that their automobile company has already engaged Quest Motors in Zimbabwe to cooperate in the areas of assembling vehicles. He added that a solar company from Anhui has already invested in energy supplies in Zimbabwe.
