Guruve South MP Edward Chindori Chininga has chided his Zanu-PF seniors for not listening to the party's founding Copac team.

He hinted in a cheeky Facebook post yesterday that his party had lost the plot by ignoring their pleas and strategies to control the constitutional reform exercise.

He said "I do not want to tell my seniors that I told you so. If only we could some times listen to each other. Here we are with Copac and the new constitution.

"It is no longer time to apportion blame. The country Zimbabwe and its people are more important than politics and political interests."

"Let's find a solution to making sure the new constitution represents the real views of the people of Zimbabwe as expressed in the outreach."

"A constitution is a national charter that will guide generations to come. There are not winners or losers to fight for. We need to think and formulate a constitution that represents the views of Zimbabweans as expressed in the outreach. The way they want to be governed."
