Linda Masarira roped in to counter Biti, Chamisa testimonies

Linda Masarira has just announced she will shortly be appearing before the Motlante Commission of Enquiry! No prizes for guessing her version of what transpired on the ill-fated August day. Masarira's testimony follows hard on the heels of riveting testimonies by Tendai Biti and Nelson Chamisa who exposed the military junta for what it is. This has elicited a swift response from the junta and it could not look further than a morally dubious Masarira, who has a settle to score with the bigger MDC.
She has apparently been hired to do a hatchet job on the bona fide opposition. Predictably, Masarira will tell the Commission that the opposition and not the army killed the victims.This woman has been not-so-subtly supporting the junta lately and at the same time demonising the opposition together with her colleague, Obert Gutu.
According to their new found 'revelations', the MDC is to blame for all the ills bedevilling Zimbabwe and Zanu PF is the saintly party trying to heal Zimbabwe and keep it afloat. These machinations have been shocking to say the least. Masarira has gone too far in her quest to please her masters. She recently made unsubstantiated claims that on the eve of the elections, the opposition sent youths to neighbouring countries for training to cause chaos in the wake of the elections. Her line of tweeting betrays her attempt at impartiality. Posting on her Twitter handle @lilomatic"Could this be the work of some unruly elements who went for training by the Serbians in neighbouring southern African countries during the election period," she posted.
The logic of such thinking defeats any sane-thinking person. Even ZBC, the propaganda appendage to Zanu PF cannot come up with such fiction. One is led to wonder whether people of Masarira's ilk have boundaries when it comes to bootlicking the rogue regime. She has morphed into an unrecognisable being that leaves even those within Zanu PF ranks green with envy.
Furthermore, there are reports that she acquired land on the strength of her relationship with a top army official with whom she sired a child. . Her testimony will always be predictable. It does not take a rocket scientist to predict that.
