2019 Joshua Nkomo Scholarships applications now open

Higherlife Foundation is offering Joshua Nkomo Scholarships for best performing students in Zimbabwe. Take this opportunity to join a vibrant community of "Joshualites" across our nation. Applicants must be Zimbabwean citizens and under the age of 21 at the time of applying, Zim Techreview reported.
A' level scholarships are available for candidates starting Lower 6 whilst University scholarships are available for candidates entering 1st year undergraduate studies. Both these opportunities apply to students commencing studies in 2019.
70% of the scholarships will be for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) studies, while 30% is reserved for other disciplines. Terms and conditions apply.
Academic Merit as determined by applicant performance in public examinations [mainly ZIMSEC and Cambridge]. ForN Level applications, a minimum of SEVEN (7) V' level, 'A"grade passes is required.
For University applications, a minimum of TEN (10) points for females and TWELVE (12) points for males is required.
Leadership Potential as demonstrated by levels of responsibility and office bearing in the school and surrounding communities, as well as confirmed indications of Community Engagements and extra curricular activity.
Personal Integrity as deduced from school reports and reports from other responsible authorities.

• Closing date for A' Level scholarship application is Saturday, 9 March 2019
