MDC Youth Chairperson jailed 6 years

The Movement for Democratic Change has announced that its Mashonaland Central Youth Chairperson Tonderai Samhu and four other MDC members were on Monday sentenced to six years in prison for allegedly barricading a road, while in Chitungwiza.
On 1February the MDC alternative MP for Mazowe North, Thulani M Ndlovu and five others who had been in custody since 16 January were today acquitted by Bindura magistrate. They were in the same prison with Samhu.
MDC also alleged that its Ward 17 chairman Mupa and youth member Nicholas Huni have been abducted by unknown assailant on Monday evening.
