Knives out for Kazembe

The knives are out for Zanu-PF Mashonaland Central Provincial chairperson Kazembe Kazembe amid allegations he was failing in his job and pursuing factional politics.

There is growing sentiment from war veterans to recall Kazembe ostensibly to avoid the spectre of Mashonaland Central fast losing ground as the best province for Zanu-PF amid concerns his leadership dents President Emmerson Mnangagwa's chances of retaining power in 2023.
