MDC unveils congress campaign formula

The opposition Movement for Democratic Change's organising department has released the constitutional process that must be adhered to by candidates who want to campaign for positions as the party move towards the elective Congress pencilled for May 2019.
The Congress template has outlined the process below:
No candidate is allowed to congregate structures outside the process outlined in this template.
No one is allowed to campaign in a province where they do not come from except for national positions.
All candidates shall be given a formal platform ( caucuses) at various levels to present their credentials and programs as a justification for suitability to be office holders:
i. Districts shall convene caucuses for provincial candidates to present their manifestos
ii. Provinces shall convene caucuses for national candidates to present their manifestos
iii. The youth assembly shall convene youth caucuses for candidates
iv. The women's assembly shall convene a women's caucuses for candidates
NB Candidates must not campaign individually. This is to avoid divisive behaviour.
