Zanu-PF to host liberation movements

Zimbabwe will host a meeting for former liberation movements in the region starting on Wednesday the 6th of June to Sunday the 10th.

The high powered delegations are expected in the country this Wednesday, while the secretary generals are expected to arrive on Thursday.

Leading Mozambique's FRELIMO will be the party's Secretary General, Felipe Paunde while Tanzania's Chama Cha Mapinduzi will be led by Wilson Mukana, who is also the Secretary General.

ANC's Secretary General, Gwede Mantashe will lead a delegation from South Africa.

Angola's MPLA delegation will be led by its Secretary General, Juliao Mateas Paulo while SWAPO's Deputy Secretary General, Nangolo Mbumba will lead his party from Namibia.

Meetings of the parties' wings such as the youth league, the women's league and the war veterans will take place on Thursday while the Secretary Generals together with Zanu-PF's National Chairman, Ambassador Simon Khaya Moyo will hold meetings on Friday.
