Econet hikes data price by 150%

In a move that has infuriated mobile data users Econet Wireless has hiked the price of its daily data bundles by 150%.
The new price of data is as follows:
$1- 40MB
$2.50- 250MB
$5- 1GB
$8- 2GB
Analysts however, have argued that in terms of market value there is no data from the initial price because 1gb has always been USD 1 and the RTGS$5 is equal to USD1.
