War veterans wade into the MDC saga

The Secretary General of the Zimbabwe National Liberation War Veterans Association Victor Matemadanda says Chamisa is a power hungry person who breaks every law to acquire power. He was commenting on the raging battle between Thokozani Khupe and Chamisa.
In an interview with ZBC Matemadanda said, "You have a person who wants to lead using wrong methods. You will recall that when he took over leadership of the MDC he literally overthrew Thokozani Khupe in a very nasty way and they wanted to burn her in a hut during the funeral of Morgan Tsvangirai and that has not even taught him a lesson."
Matemadanda also lashed at the MDC lawyer Thabani Mpofu saying he is an impatient lawyer who likes to create commotion in the country.
"Chamisa has got a very energetic and courageous lawyer who is very good at emotionally driving people's minds and creating unnecessary commotion in Zimbabwe.
"If you look at what he said about this case, he speaks as if it will be a walkover and this gets into the heads of the people of MDC and when the judgement delivered is different you will have another problem caused by a lawyer who is not patient to celebrating after winning the case."
