Jonathan Moyo advises Chamisa's MDC

Professor Jonathan Moyo has advised MDC leadership to be with the people if they want to win elections.
Moyo was responding to Twitter comments after the MDC lost the Bikita by-election with awide margin.
Said Prof Moyo, "It's hard to understand why the senior leadership of the MDC-ALLIANCE is conspicuous by its absence in these key by-election campaigns. Very hard. Imagine Jeremy Corbyn not participating in crucial by-elections. The Lupane East by-election is beckoning!
"Engaged and visible leadership on the ground is critically and urgently needed. The veteran nationalist and national hero, Maurice Nyagumbo, used to call it Being with the People!"
The by-election was to fill the council seat left vacant following the death of Zanu-PF councillor Patrick Marozhe on April 15 this year.
MDC was being represented by its Bikita district chairperson Moses Maphosa, while Thomas Mataga stood for Zanu-PF.
