MDC Alliance NEC member dies

GENDER activist and former MDC-T Proportional Representation Fanny Chirisa has died.
Chirisa was 69. She was born in Mutare in 1951 and grew up in Sakubva. At the time of reporting it was still not clear the reasons of her death.
MDC Alliance took to Twitter to announce the sad development.
Said MDC Alliance, "The MDC Alliance is saddened to learn of the passing of prominent women's rights activist & former MP, Hon Fanny Chirisa. Hon Chirisa was a member of the MDC Alliance National Executive Committee.
"We extend our deepest condolences to her family on this sad loss."
