Pregnant woman and children abducted by Zanu-PF operatives

Three children Emmanuel Jamela, Godfrey Jamela (5) and Frank Jamela (3) together with their mother Florence Ngwere Jamela (23) who is pregnant were yesterday abducted by suspected Zanu-PF operatives in Shagari Midlands South.
MDC-T claims that Zanu-PF operatives blamed the family members for hiding their father Moses Jamela who is a member of the MDC-T Moses Jamela said Zanu-PF operatives have been visiting his home for the past two weeks accusing him of supporting the MDC-T.
Details are that Zanu-PF operatives came to his home yesterday at around 1am. They found the family asleep as he had already heard that Zanu-PF people want to kill him. Neighbours say the wife, Florence Ngwere was first assaulted as they sought to get information on where her husband was. When they failed to get this information they then abducted the woman and her children to an unknown destination.
The people suspected to have led to the disappearance of this family are, Artwell Zindi who drives Zanu-PF vehicle in Shagari area Midlands South. The other Zanu-PF members are Stephen Mazarura, Jephta and Cosmas.
The Zanu-PF operatives stole a generator which is used at MDC-T functions as a source of power.
Since yesterday Moses Jamela has not heard from his family on their whereabouts. The MDC-T condemns the abduction of this family and calls on the responsible authority to ensure the four are returned home safely.
The MDC-T knows and demands that the Inclusive government principals ensure security for all the people in the country. The Zanu-PF double standard is not just retrogressive but to abduct innocent children to settle political scores is clearly unacceptable.
The party underscores the need for total change in the country and the ushering of a new democratic dispensation where people are respected for their political affiliation.
