Tsvangirai to confront Mugabe

We have probably heard this statement several times, Prime Minister, Morgan Tsvangirai is claiming that he will confront President Mugabe over escalating violence which culminated in the tragic death of a 12-year old boy in Headlands on Saturday last week.
MDC-T called an urgent press conference yesterday to warn that business in the coalition government will never be the same again unless Zanu-PF stops violence.
Deputy police commissioner general Innocent Matibiri yesterday said they were investigating the death of the boy, saying it was too early to ascertain if it was politically motivated.
Matibiri told Parliament that the police had no evidence that Christpower Simbarashe Maisiri's death was a result of political violence.
Meanwhile, Tsvangirai has summoned 2 ministers over the escalating crackdown by the police on Zimbabwean human rights defenders.
Tsvangirai has met with co-Home Affairs minister Theresa Makone, responsible for the police and Labour and Social Welfare minister Paurina Mupariwa, to express worry over the rising cases of arbitrary arrests and raids targeted at hey human rights groups ahead of the March 16 referendum and general elections.
