FOUR officials from Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai's office accused of breaching the Official Secrets Act, possessing articles for criminal use and impersonating the police appear in court today.
Thabani Mpofu, Mehluli Tshuma, Felix Matsinde and Warship Dumba who all work in Tsvangirai's research and development office, will appear at Harare Magistrate's Court this morning as trial continues.
Tsvangirai's staffers were arrested last month for allegedly possessing classified documents for criminal use.
Their lawyer Alec Muchadehama confirmed deferment of the case sometime in April, saying: "It was postponed to the 8th (of April) because the prosecutor (Michael Mugabe) who was supposed to argue the matter was unavailable."
The four were arrested together with human rights lawyer Beatrice Mtetwa for allegedly attempting to stop their arrest.
