Zanu-PF Politburo accepts UK talks report

The 265th Zanu-PF Politburo meeting held in Harare this Thursday has accepted the outcome of the re-engagement talks held in London recently that the dispute between the UK and Zimbabwe is bilateral as agreed by the two parties.
Zanu-PF Secretary for Information and Publicity, Rugare Gumbo said during the meeting, the party discussed and accepted Chinamasa's report on re-engagement with Britain.
Gumbo said the party leadership also decided on Calistas Ndlovu as the new party chairperson for Bulawayo Metropolitan province.
His deputy is Isaac Dhakamela.
He said the meeting also discussed the forthcoming presentation of the constitutional bill on the 7th of next month, and the anticipated re-alignment of the old and new constitution.
The meeting also discussed about the commissariat report and the preparedness of the party towards harmonised elections.
Meanwhile, Zanu-PF National Chairman, Simon Khaya Moyo will on Friday visit Manicaland to resolve some of the challenges facing the province.
He will also visit Mashonaland West and other provinces on a similar mission.
In the meantime, a special Politburo meeting is set to discuss the rules and regulations for primary elections and those for choosing candidates for primary elections as required by the constitution.
