Zanu-PF abusing Joshua Nkomo's name

Thandiwe Nkomo-Ibrahim, daughter of the late VP Joshua Nkomo has lashed out at Zanu-PF for using his father's name to gain political mileage.

She said it was worrying that some elements in Zanu-PF continued to manipulate the late Father Zimbabwe's name for personal gains.

Zanu-PF Bulawayo province will next month host a special week to commemorate the life of the late Vice-President Joshua Mqabuko Nkomo.

Bulawayo provincial chairman Professor Callistus Ndlovu announced at a press conference last week that the commemorations would be held between July 1-6. Dr Nkomo died on July 1 in 1999
