Zanu-PF primary elections candidates out

Zanu has released a list of aspiring candidates who will contest in the primary elections set for the 24th of this month.
The list, which was read by Zanu PF National Chairman, Ambassador Simon Khaya Moyo, who is also the National Electorate Directorate Chairperson, consists of several new aspiring candidates and the senior Zanu PF members.
Several constituencies saw some senior members qualifying without being contested.
Some of those who qualified without being contested are Joice Mujuru, Emmerson Mnangagwa, Sydney Sekeramai, Simon Khaya Moyo, Olivia Muchena, Ambros Mutinhiri, Obert Mpofu, Walter Mzembi, Dr David Parirenyatwa, Herbert Murerwa, Angline Masuku, Didymus Mutasa, Naison Ndlovu, Abigail Damasani, Flora Buka and Professor Jonathan Moyo, among others.
In Chegutu East, Webster Shamu will battle it out with John Mafa while Dr Ignatius Chombo will face Innocent Matibiri.
Kembo Mohadi will face Lorraine Tshili, Phillimon Mbedzi and Johane Dube.
Elias Musakwa is one of the candidates who will not be contested following failure by Dr Munyaradzi Kereke to meet the required documents.
In Makoni Central, Patrick Chinamasa will battle it out with Basil Nyabadza.
Rugare gumbo will be contested by July Moyo for the Mberengwa senatorial seat.
