The Zanu-PF National Chairman, Ambassador Simon Khaya Moyo says the party's primary elections underway across the country which were supposed to end today (Tuesday) have been extended to tomorrow (Wednesday) midday.
Khaya Moyo, who is also the party's National Elections Directorate Chairman, said the process had to be extended to Wednesday 12 noon, after people at some polling stations started to vote late due to some logistical challenges.
He said all results should be submitted to the National Elections Directorate by 4.pm Wednesday.
Ambassador Khaya Moyo urged polling stations with limited voting material to improvise but however this should be done in a transparent manner.
The Zanu-PF candidates are battling it out to represent the party in the forthcoming harmonised elections.
