A Zanu-PF Chidziva district chairperson, who went missing in the run up to the party's primary elections has been found dead.
The chairperson was only identified as Murombedzi.
According to several party officials and eyewitnesses, Murombedzi's body was discovered floating in a dam near Banket yesterday morning.
Sources in Banket said the body of the activist, who had expressed interest in taking part in the party's primary elections which ended last Wednesday, was discovered after the man went missing for more than a week.
The chairperson was only identified as Murombedzi.
