Zanu-PF continues to lead in the harmonised election and has now won 137 National Assembly seats and only need three to clinch a two thirds majority.
The MDC-T has won 48 seats.
So far, the party has made a clean sweep of Masvingo province winning all the 26 National Assembly seats.
Zanu-PF also took 23 seats out of 26 in Manicaland a huge leap from the 2008 elections when the party had 12 seats.
In Mashonaland East, Zanu-PF won 22 seats while an Independent Candidate, Mr Jonathan Samukange took the other seat with the MDC-T failing to take a single seat in the province.
Zanu-PF has also made amazing in-roads into Matabeleland South province winning all the 13 National Assembly seats.
The MDC-T won all the 12 National Assembly seats in Bulawayo and clinched 23 seats in Harare province.
With more results yet to come from Zanu-PF traditional strongholds such as the Midlands, Mashonaland West and Mashonaland Central it has become clear that Zanu-PF has taken a clear majority in the House of Assembly which will enable it to make constitutional amendments when the need arises, according to state media on Saturday.
