Zanu-PF official 'Kumbirai Kangai' dies

Zanu-PF Politburo member and former Cabinet minister Kumbirai Kangai has died.
Kangai (75) died this morning soon after admission at Corporate 24 Clinic in Harare.
Zanu-PF secretary for information and publicity Rugare Gumbo said more details will be made known later in the day.
"I can confirm that one of our stalwarts in the party, Cde Kumbirai, has died. It is a sad loss. I am actually here at the Corporate 24 Clinic as we speak," he said.
Kangai, a Zanu PF heavyweight, was a legislator for Buhera South from 1980 to 2008, when he lost to an MDC-T candidate.
He was the former Minister of Agriculture.
Mourners are reportedly gathered at his house in Borrowdale, Harare.
