A Zanu-PF legislator awaiting disciplinary action over the Munyaradzi Kereke saga has ordered the party to stop using his building as its base in Masvingo province.
Party officials confirmed that Masvingo Central MP, Edmond Mhere, had told them he wanted to use the offices located along Hellet Street in the city centre for his business operations.
The businessman had allowed the party to use the building without paying rent or services charges over the last four years.
He however, refused to comment on the development referring reporters to provincial chairman, Lovemore Matuke.
Matuke confirmed the party had been advised to vacate the premises but expressed gratitude for the help extended to the party for four years.
Both Matuke and Mhere face disciplinary action for allegedly signing the nomination papers of former Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe advisor, Munyaradzi Kereke, who defied the party to contest and win Bikita West constituency the July 31 election.
