Zanu-PF extraordinary Politburo meeting underway

An extraordinary Politburo meeting of the ruling Zanu-PF is being held at the party headquarters in Harare.
The meeting will be briefed on the recent provincial elections and on the latest regarding preparations for the 14th annual National People's Conference which will be officially opened in Chinhoyi on Friday the 13th of this month.
The Politburo meeting will also discuss the criteria for the selection of other provincial candidates following the successful election of party chairmen in all the country's provinces.
The extraordinary meeting of the Politburo is also expected to decide the burial status of the late Brigadier General Misheck Tanyanyiwa who died in China last week.
He was serving as a Defence Attaché to China.
