ZANU-PF Deputy Director of Information, Psychology Maziwisa has provoked the ire of the nation with a survey made on his facebook profile following the death of Nelson Mandela.
Known for being outspoken and being a Zanu-PF defender, Maziwisa first advised his +45,000 followers that the former South African leader has passed on.
He wrote: 'Nelson Mandela, one of the greatest leaders of our time, has died at 95. May his soul rest in eternal peace!'
Three hours after wishing 'Mandela's soul to rest in eternal peace', Maziwisa posed a controversial question: 'What is Nelson Mandela's legacy?'
Maziwisa then provided three possible answers.
1. Peace, justice and dignity for all
2. Creating a Rainbow Nation
3. Poverty and endless economic inequality
Bekezela Maduma Fuzwayo responded, "Typical corrupt, greedy and selfish like everyone in your grouping wena Sayikhology. You think by enriching each other in your groupings you ever eliminated poverty and economic inequality in Zimbabwe? That's an extremely disgusting opinion you have put them and the honourable thing is for you to pull down this post and apologise.
Gabriel Gabbz added, "Very disrepectfiul and insensitive for you Psychology to even put number 3 in your list. You have lost my respect man. Ur Disgrace to African culture."
Some where a bit suggestive, Tinashe Sibanda commented, "Pyschology u put number 3 knowing tht it is the answer akatengesa nyika mdhara uya he brain washed people but come see how original South Africans are suffering kugara muzwitangwena munyika yavo ahhh kwedu azviko izvo answer ndi 3 and when it comes to that 27 years in prison people just do your research u will get to knw the truth exactly what was hapening in Roben Island you can even google do a deep research kikikiki muchachangamuka."
Some even questioned the choice of answers, Juliet Mabika said, "Poverty and endless economic inequality"??? How did he cause that??
Freedom Unity also commented, "Our thoughts are with the South *African people who today mourn the person who came to embody their sense of common nationhood. Mandela truly brought South Africans together to which that was his assignment on earth. Once we establish what's left for our own assignments duty will call. There is still much left for our remaining legends to fulfill Africas dreams. To liberate, unite and gunner better living for all. For our common destiny bids us to work together, never at cross-purposes. More important, that destiny bids us to work for the wellbeing and in defence of our people who must always come first." Based on our past and history of liberation to Zimbabweans they did not need a Mandela but were given President Mugabe and to South Africans they did not need a Mugabe hence were given Mandela, this all encompasses the destiny of Africans at large. More legends shall therefore come on varying grounds of liberal reason for Africa to be served. The world joins all in celebrating the life of Mandela. Hamba kahle mudala wethu."
Some had some advise for Maziwisa, Garikai Mubhedha said, "Psychology dzako dzakadimbuka, unoziva a person of calibre shud not try to divide pple by postng nonsense esp #3."
Mandela died 'peacefully' at his Johannesburg home on Thursday night at the age of 95 surrounded by friends and family, president Jacob Zuma confirmed.
He was the first democratically-elected South African president in all-race elections and famous for his opposition to apartheid, serving 27 years in prison with unwavering dedicating to his cause.
