Prayer Network Zimbabwe (PNZ) an interdenominational Christian group which organised a series of peace prayer meetings in the run-up to the July 31 national elections has transformed into a political party called Transform Zimbabwe.

Interim President Jacob Ngarivhume said the decision to form a political party was endorsed at the PNZ prayer convention held in the capital over the weekend.

He said they have received an overwhelming mandate from across the country to launch a political party and indicated the party sought to create culture of politics with strong and principled leaders who are dedicated to serve the people.

PNZ was formed in 2010 and has a membership of more than 12 000 people and over 100 networks countrywide.
