Zanu-PF Politburo to discuss faction fights

Zanu-PF faction fights will dominate the party's next politburo meeting later this month as it tries to douse intensifying infighting among senior members that is now threatening to tear the ruling party apart.

Zanu-PF national spokesperson Rugare Gumbo yesterday said the faction fights were worrying and would top the agenda at the party's next politburo meeting.

Gumbo this is a matter that will be discussed at the next meeting if it is still current when the politburo meets.

Meanwhile, Zanu-PF factionalism has spilled into Parliament.

Election of young turks has seen action shifting to the parly with legislators such as Temba Mliswa and Justice Mayor Wadyajena who recently made stunning revelations about corruption involving party bigwigs.

There are two widely believed factions in Zanu-PF, one led by Emmerson Mnangagwa and the other by VP Joice Mujuru.
