Zanu-PF backs Masimirembwa appointment

Zanu PF has backed Godwills Masimirembwa's appointment as CMED board chairman saying it was confident he would discharge his duties professionally.

The party's deputy director for information and publicity Psychology Maziwisa said Masimirembwa's exonerating by Pesident Robert Mugabe of corrupt activities would boost the deregistered lawyer's morale.

"I offer my congratulations to my brother and former Chairman Godwills Masimirembwa for his appointment as CMED Board Chairman," Maziwisa said.

"Mr Masimirembwa is a hugely capable leader whose exoneration by President Mugabe will enable him in his new position to work towards making ZimAsset a reality. He has my best wishes in his latest assignment"
