China behind Zanu-PF victory

Zanu-PF says it won last year's elections through the aid of China and its victory should be celebrated by the two countries.

National chairperson of the ruling party Simon Khaya Moyo yesterday told a delegation of the Chinese ruling party, Communist Party of China in Harare that without the Asian country's support it would have been difficult for Zanu-PF to win resoundingly.

He said that the party received enormous support from the people of China and they really want to extend their profound gratitude.

The delegation led by Guo Jin Long a member of the ruling party is in the country to strengthen ties between the two governing parties.
