Knives are out for Mutare businessman, Esau Mupfumi, after he attempted to evict informal traders from Meikles Park last week.
Manicaland war veterans deputy political commissar, Irvin Mbengo, said they would not hesitate to take up arms again to free the country from the clutches of mafikizolos who have hijacked the liberation movement.
Mbengo was addressing hundreds of disgruntled informal traders who were not happy after Mupfumi, a Zanu-PF central committee member, evicted the traders last Friday.
The traders were also not impressed after the businessman hiked daily rentals at the Park from $1 to $2 a day.
Mupfumi is reported to have controversially acquired Meikles Park from the Mutare local authority to build a state-of-the-art hotel in the eastern border city.
