The Zanu-PF Youth League Secretary for International Relations, Tongai Kasukuwere, has implored senior members of the party to stop interfering in the affairs of the youth league, saying their interference is bent on destroying the party through unnecessary divisions.
Kasukuwere said youths should refuse to be used by some leaders in the party for their selfish gains. The Secretary for Women Affairs Oppah Muchinguri, Edna Madzongwe and Advocate Martin Dinha are also attending the meeting.
Also present are cabinet ministers Savior Kasukuwere and Nicholas Goche as well as Deputy Minister Tabitha Kanengoni Malinga.
Some pressure groups including National Youth Service graduates, ZILWACO, Youth in Farming, Youth in Mining and young parliamentarian representatives are also present to give their support for the First Lady to lead the women's league.
